Hello, I'm Katelyn!
I grew up in Kansas, where I spent most of my childhood dancing competitively and falling in love with movement and expression. When I wasn’t at the studio, I was always finding other artsy hobbies to fill my time – anything creative I could get my hands on. I later attended the University of Nebraska, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education. While there, I had the unforgettable experience of cheering on the Huskers as part of the Cheer Squad, surrounded by incredible families and the most dedicated fans in college football (Go Big Red!). It was during those college years that I met my now husband, and many of our weekends were spent together in Des Moines – a city that quickly felt like home. After graduation, I made the move for good, and we’ve since planted our roots just outside of Des Moines with our two sweet dogs and our cat, who keep life lively and full of joy.
I’m so grateful to now be utilizing my creative passions in my photography business, where I get to meet amazing clients and help them preserve their most meaningful moments. Whether it’s capturing clean technique, the joy of your family, or a quiet in-between moment, I’m honored to help provide memories you’ll hold onto for a lifetime.
